About ASCHT 2019
The first Asian Symposium on Computational Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow (ASCHT) was organized in Xi'an, China, in 2007 with the intention of encouraging scientific and technical cooperation and exchange among Asian countries.
Then, the symposia have been held every two years to activate not only the scientific and technical communication but also to promote the friendship of members. The ASCHT 2019 will be held at Tokyo University of Science, in Tokyo from 3 to 7 September 2019. This symposium is the seventh in the series of biennial symposia started in Xi'an, China (2007), Jeju, Korea (2009), Kyoto, Japan (2011), Hong Kong, China (2013), Busan, Korea (2015), Chennai, India (2017).
This symposium aims to provide an international forum for presentation, exchange of ideas and creation of knowledge in recent advances on various aspects of theories, analyses, and applications of computational methods in theoretical and engineering fluid and thermal science. The program includes invited keynote lectures by distinguished experts across the globe. There will be a number of parallel technical sessions spread over the conference periods. It will bring together researchers and practitioners from academia, research institutions and industry to exchange experiences, disseminate up-to-date information, and explore new research directions. It will also expose young or new researchers to the state-of-the-art research activities. It is anticipated that the 7th Asian Symposium on Computational Heat Transfer and Fluid Flow - 2019 (ASCHT 2019) will provide the best opportunity for stimulation of the researchers as well as for furthering cooperation among the investigators in the field of thermo-fluid science and engineering.
